Institutional Research Grant

Research Load –  Deload and research! This grant offers a research load of a minimum of 6 units for studies of university scope to a maximum of 15 units for international scope, provided that the total teaching and research load must not exceed 24 units. In addition, the grantee will receive a premium of three [3] units, making the total pay units into 27 units.

 Research Incentive –  Research load plus cash! This research grant offers incentives ranging from a minimum of Php10,000 for studies of university scope to a maximum of Php50,000 for international scope, which is given in addition to the Research Load.

All-In Institutional Research Package

Get them all in one package! This grant offers Php50,000.00 in cash for one study to be completed in a five-month period or one semester.

Incentive for a Completed Research Project

Research at your own pace! This grant offers Php 25,000 in cash after completing a research at your own time, pacing, and resources, even without financial support from the University or any external organization. Reimbursements for other expenses limited to costs of tangible prototype or product may be considered.

 Find reward in creating teaching tools out of your research! RDO awards incentive to authors of quality and beneficial instructional materials, provided that they can present the full research report of the completed research used as basis in the preparation of the said instructional materials.  Sharing of book royalties is governed by the rules of the Office of Finance.

Research Publication Incentive

Publish and be rewarded! This incentive is awarded to primary authors and co-authors of research articles successfully accepted for publication in national and international refereed journals. Incentives range from Php2,500 to Php50,000 per journal article.

Presentation in Conference

Publish and be rewarded! This incentive is awarded to primary authors and co-authors of research articles successfully accepted for publication in national and international refereed journals. Incentives range from Php2,500 to Php50,000 per journal article.

RDO Assistance

Help is available! The RDO offers the use of research facilities, equipment, and research areas during the course of the study.  Research-related software and professional assistance of a statistician/data processor, resident editor, and research support staff are also made available to the proponents. Printing of materials during the final phase of the research may also be provided to faculty researchers.

Incentive for Awards and Recognition

Be rewarded for an award! Researchers recognized by esteemed external agencies for their outstanding scholarly work such as research publication, research presentation, research work, literary and musical compositions, art and photography   at least at the regional level, thereby bringing prestige to the University, shall be receive a cash incentive of PhP 3000 (Memorandum No. 095 (Series SY 2016-2017).

Incentive for a Completed Creative Work

  1. Creativity is rewarding! Outstanding creative works of faculty members, lay administrators, and non-teaching personnel in line with their discipline may be awarded an incentive provided that the minimum output is completed, fully documented, and disseminated. Incentive may range from Php3,000 to Php15,000 depending on the scope of dissemination.

Support and Incentive for Student Researches

RDO recognizes students’ needs and accomplishments! All students may avail of the RDO research services which include the use of the GOT Spots, personal computers with internet connection, access to online research databases, use of RDO reference collection (journals, thesis, research papers), and the Research Quality Assurance Testing service free of charge. Awards are also given to outstanding undergraduate research outputs per college through the University Research Exposition (UR Expo). Outstanding research articles as well as abstracts of students’ research outputs have the chance to be published in Virtutis Incunabula – the Institutional Refereed Journal and the RDO Website
