To address the concern of the RESOURCE Mushroom core group during the recently concluded Focus Group Discussion, the Research and Development Office conducted a Mushroom Livelihood Consultation and Site Visit at RESOURCE – Handumanan last April 21, 2021.

Nine recipients of the said livelihood participated in the activity. Moreover, Engr. Naivette Galvan, Provincial Agricultural Laboratory Coordinator, and Miss Maribel Saquian, Provincial Mushroom Coordinator graced the activity as the mushroom consultants.

Moreover, a Training on Mushroom Processing will be held on May 2021 as a response to the recipients’ request, which is in line with their plans for their venture in the mushroom industry.

The Mushroom Livelihood Program in RESOURCE-Handumanan was adopted by the RDO from the Technology Transfer activity of the VALUE Negros (VN) DARE TO Project in 2019 as an enhancement program based on Climate Change Awareness Data.
